Herbrandston 1
Solva 3
Solva's fine second-half display ensured they claimed victory over Herbrandston to progress into the quarter-final.

Peter Cole’s Solva outfit trailed 1-0 at the interval, but they certainly woke up in the second period to get the better of Steve Batty’s disappointing Herbie troops.

The home side took the lead in the 44th minute when, talented young striker Craig Nicholson’s strike came off the underside of Chris Davies’ crossbar.

Five minutes after the turnaround and the visitors levelled matters. Ben Jones broke clear from half way and clinically buried his opportunity into the bottom right hand corner.

On the hour mark, the visitors took the lead. Luke Jones powerfully headed Dan Williams’ well-executed corner home.

Fifteen minutes from full time and Solva struck a third. Super substitute Fraser Watson showed good composure to sweetly strike beyond the reach of Langdon.

Herbie battled hard to try and claw their way back, but on the day the visitors were good value for victory and now look forward to the next round.
