For the second year in a row, Jordan Hart from Pembroke Dock dominated the girls classes in the Welsh junior nationals at Wrexham. She took five golds and a silver in two age groups in the two day event, just missing out on a sixth gold by the tightest of margins. It was an even more remarkable achievement considering she did not even enter her own under-15 age group but competed in under-17 and under-19 events.

Jordan defeated Aimee Moran of Swansea to become the youngest ever to reach the under-19 singles final; and Georgia Hughes of North Wales in the under 17 singles final. Playing with Louise Breen of north Wales in the doubles, Jordan took the under-17 title against Hannah Killick and Alice Palmer. Again playing with Louise Breen she then took the under-19 doubles title despite their final opponents being the two losing singles finalists, Georgia Hughes and Aimee Moran.

With under-17 badminton so strong at the moment, some of the same players featured in the later stages of both the under-17 and under-19 tournaments. In the mixed doubles Jordan played with Daniel Font of north Wales and in both those finals they played Oliver Gwilt and Georgia Hughes of north Wales, who had recently won bronze at the European championships. Those matches were the feature of the weekend and in the under-17s, Jordan and Louise won 16-21, 21-19, 21- 17. In the under-19s, it was again neck and neck, but they just lost out on gold by 21-14, 18-21, 19-21.
