Haverfordwest (209 for 9) drew with St Ishmaels (173 for 7)

Haverfordwest had the better of the draw against St Ishmaels at The Racecourse but are still seeking their first league win of the campaign after Tish lost their way despite an excellent start and were happy to enjoy a share of the spoils.

Haverfordwest were put in to bat and their final total owed a great deal to Ben Field (nine fours in his 53) and Karl Rhead (five fours and two sixes in his 59), assisted by Dai Davies (31), Adam Raymond and Danny Potter (17 apiece) as Tish skipper Andrew Palmer bowled really well for his 4 for 48 haul and so did Andrew Williams (3 for 27).

Tish raced to 50 without loss in the sixth over before Clive Tucker (3 for 38) applied the brakes and found support from Nigel Morgan (1 for 27), Adam James (2 for 48) and Josh Wilment (1 for 48).

Jonathan Pawlett (32), Peter Bradshaw (43) and Dan Howells (42) were the mainstays of the Tish batting, with Howells and Bradshaw sharing a stand of 72, whilst Andrew Palmer also chipped in with 13 – but no-one else could get in and stay there, with Tish happy to hold on at the end. St Ishmaels were sponsored by Marilyn and Mike Pawlett.
