Pembroke Dock (83 all out) lost to Haverfordwest 11 (269 for 5)
A brilliant century by Danny Potter earned the Town’s second string a comfortable 186 runs victory against Pembroke Dock at Imble Lane.

The visitors opened the batting, and highlight of their innings was a majestic 130 from Potter that had no fewer than 17 fours and four sixes.. Stephen Phillips (44) and Nigel Delaney (49), both gave good support, and both will feel disappointed not to reach the half-century mark.

The Dock found wickets hard to come by with only Jake Davies (1 for 53), Daniel Heaps (1 for 31) and Niall Brunton (1 for 13) having any joy with the ball.

Town’s right arm seamer Josh Wilment (4 for 30) caused mayhem for the Dock batting line-up by taking four wickets. Simon Williams (2 for 35), Nigel Morgan (2 for 1) and James Morris (1 for 13) took wickets at regular intervals as the Dock’s innings came to a grinding halt.

Only Jake Davies (34), Chris Boyett (13) and Scott Griffiths (11) showed any resistance with the willow, as the Town were extremely good value for a welcome away win.

Umpires: Huw Davies and Rob Couzens.
