NARBERTH quite literally got hit for six at home to one of the cup favourites Merlins Bridge.

The Bridge narrowly won 2-1 at Jesse Road in an earlier league clash, but the Wizards worked their magic to score three goals in each half and coast to victory.

Matthew D’Ivry opened the scoring in the 15th minute when the defender rose highest in the box to nod home. Matthew Price scored the second from the penalty spot, after the player/manager was fouled in the area.

D’Ivry drilled in his second of the game for the third. After the interval Mike Preddy hit the target. Super sub Stephen McNabney made no mistake with the fifth and another sub James Skudder completed the rout when he lashed home from the edge of the box.
