After two successive home defeats Monkton Swifts returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Solva.
Byron Phillips’ Swifts led two-nothing at half-time and they added a further goal in the second period to secure the points.
The hosts took the lead on 18 minutes, when James Russell’s clever cutback led to Shaun Jones lashing the ball into the back of the net.
On the stroke of half time and the visitors doubled their lead as Lee Brockway swept home from inside the 18-yard box.
On 65 minutes the Swifts added a third goal when striker Mike Canton drilled home beyond keeper Chris Davies from 25 yards out.
A minute later and the visitors pulled back through Matt Harries, which was to be a consolation effort for Peter Cole’s Solva troops.
