Saundersfoot (123 for 1) beat Haverfordwest 2nds (122 all out) SAUNDERSFOOT were far too strong for a Haverfordwest Seconds team weakened by calls into the first team and gained a resounding nine-wicket win that extended their lead at the top of the table to a massive 84 points.
Jamie Jenkins (19), Dan Field (18) and Kern Cunningham (13) made contributions before No 10 Avron Roulstone smashed a late 25 as Danny Caine (2 for 28), Simon Wood (3 for 40), Dai Davies (3 for 30) and Jack Franklyn (3 for 14) claimed the wickets for the Seasiders.
Saundersfoot only needed 123 runs to win as Sam Franklyn (21) and Paul Mansbridge shared an opening stand of 62. Mansbridge has been in imperious form of late and he had 17 fours and a six en route to his 80 not out, with Phil Jones adding 12 not out of an unbroken stand of 61 as Saundersfoot reached their target in only 22 overs.
