TORCH BEARER Rosie Hollis , said she would be taking her Olympic torch to abirthday party this afternoon.
Rosie, 26, of Darwen, carried the torch through Blackburn town centre.
She said: "It was an amazing experience. I'm going to a birthday party this afternoon and I'm taking the torch. I can't wait!"
Rosie had battled cervical cancer and said hopes to raise more awareness of the illness by running.
Rosie, of Cemetery Road, was nominated to take part in the relay by her friend because of her charity work.
