Llangwm (165 for 5) lost to Neyland (166 for 5) by 5 wickets
Neyland’s five wicket success at Pill Parks keeps them in third spot in the table whilst forcing opponents Llangwm into even deeper danger at the opposite end.
Will Beresford (40) was again the top early batsman for Llangwm after they had been invited to bat by Neyland skipper Gregg Miller, with Sean Waller (22), Matthew Kiff (12) and Luke Brock (11) giving mini-cameos before Chris Thomas gave the innings a little urgency with a battling 53 not out at the finish against Gary Lloyd (2 for 37), Henry Durrant (2 for 45) and Nick Koomen (1 for 10).
Then skipper Miller (44), Koomen (15) and Patrick Bellerby (19) ensured Neyland were in control as Nathan Banner enhanced his claims as top all-rounder in the county with another boundary-laden 61 not out in a five-wicket success.
Umpires: Denis Chiffi & Rob Cousins.
Scorers: Janice Brick & John Laugharne.
