Whitland supplied their hardy band of supporters with the best possible Christmas present as they travelled to previously undefeated Tonmawr and came back with a deserved win.
Tonmawr had won all nine of their previous league matches and were undefeated at home for 18 months but five penalties and a dropped goal by outside half Emyr Williams eased the Borderers home, in what was a superb team effort by Randall Williams and his boys.
